Something completely different for the Organist, a set of Celtic Tunes arranged for organ, some are very short but all would make excellent recital pieces.
This collection of lovely melodies from Ireland and Scotland have formed the basis of much of the repertoire of my group –The Oxford Concert Party ( "Europe's only Baroque and Tango Orchestra"). We have performed them to great acclaim in numerous concert tours and major music festivals throughout the British Isles and in Europe for 30 years.
I have arranged twenty of these pieces by Turlough O'Carolan, J. Scott Skinner, James Oswald and others in what I hope is an interesting and attractive way for organists in the hope that they may be enjoyed by a wider audience.
