The Christmas Choral & Vocal Music series

Recital Music has developed a large, exciting and eclectic catalogue of Christmas music for choirs in recent years. Some works are published for the first time, others are in new editions, and we aim to provide accessible and enjoyable choral music for choirs of all ages and abilities. Enjoy!

I Sing of a Maiden sets words from the 15th-century and is scored for SATB choir and piano (or organ) and will work equally well as a vocal quartet. The homophonic writing, interspersed with short piano links creates a work of atmospheric beauty and mystery.

A slightly adventurous, though still accessible, harmonic language tinged with modal influences and plainsong produces a work which offers much to singers and audiences alike.

An edition with string quartet/quintet or string orchestra accompaniment is in preparation.
