A magnificent and advanced work which is dedicated to the American double bass virtuoso, Edgar Meyer. There are challenges aplenty for the adventurous bassist and it uses the entire range of the instrument with much impressive writing and striking harmonic passages. The Multi Bass Fid'dle Story was premiered at Bass-Fest 2002 by the composer and the piece pushes the boundaries yet again, combining musicality, inspiration and virtuosity in equal measure.

Effective in performance and full of great music with scope to demonstrate both musical and technical prowess to the limit. Enjoy.
