Both duets are reprinted from Otto Langey's Practical Tutor for the Double Bass and were probably arranged by Langey.

Luigi Cherubini's Duet is a short canonic work which is lively and accessible, and would fit easily into any concert, and Duetto by French composer-pianist, Louise Farrenc, is a charming salon piece where the melodic material is shared equally between the players. Both works are inventive and lyrical, ideal for both salon or recital use.
