Violin, cello and piano. This piano trio version of the song Apres un reve was arranged as an encore piece for the performance at Aspen Music Festival in July 2003, followed by the recording session of The Faure Album (Canary Classics/Vanguard Classics, ATM-CD 1239) with violinist Gil Shaham and cellist Brinton Smith. As a great admirer of Faures music I simply sought to demonstrate Faures musical purity. There is nothing decorative or showyonly his pure spirit is in it. Apres un reve (After a dream) was translated into French by the poet Romain Bussine (1830-1899), from an anonymous Tuscan text (Levati sol que la lune e levati).. Format: Score and parts. Classification: Instrumental Repertoire. Media: Printed music.
