As with Microjazz for solo piano, these duets explore modern piano styles - blues, rock, jazz etc., in a set of graded piano pieces, starting at grade 1 at the beginning of the first book and progressing to about grade 5 at the end of the second. Suggested fingerings and tempo indications are included.

Rhythmic difficulties are the chief obstacle to overcome, especially with two players involved! Don't attempt to take the pieces too fast. Each piece has a well-defined character and accurate performance should reveal the nature of each duet to performers and listeners alike.
