An abundance of ethnic origins and cultures are located in the Balkan. This choice of pieces is naturally only a small excerpt of the colorful and contrasting world of the southeastern European music folklore, which should however give us an impression of the total mosaic. All pieces are arranged such that they can be played in almost any instrumental combination, regardless of the number of musicians or the instruments. Whether melody instrument, voice and piano, string quartet, wind ensemble, Folk Band, or string, guitar, accordion or wind orchestra - it is always possible to use this material to construct workable versions.
