An extended one-movement work which makes demands of both performers, offering ensemble, interpretive and musical challenges. Only available for double bass in solo tuning, this is evocative and atmospheric music which ought to enter the duo repertoire. Almost a Serious Duo was written for Catherine Lord (Vln) and David Heyes (Db) who have performed it many times.
