The Time Pieces for Viola series

"Time Pieces" are a series of publications for solo instrument and piano which contain a carefully graded selection of tuneful pieces. They are well-crafted arrangements which provide practice of the keys, note-ranges and fingering patterns encountered in the early grades.

They contain a wide range of material, from Tallis to Tchaikovsky and from Beethoven to Vaughan Williams.

Each volume presents the pieces in chronological order and prints the year in which they were written.

Reviews

... appealing melodies... a fascinating compilation that is certain to attract violists of the present day. There is a need for new viola repertoire and these delightful and well-crafted arrangements eminently fill the gap.

Stringendo (Australia) Aug-Sept 2002

All the pieces are interesting and enjoyable to play. These volumes are well written, extremely useful and are good value for money.

MMA Ensemble Jan 03

... all are well arranged and edited, and the piano accompaniments are simple but musically satisfying.
