Congregational with optional choral harmony, this Mass, set by Peter Rose to the new English translation, has recently been approved by the Bishops' Conference of Scotland and the ICEL, Washington. The Mass was written in honour of the sixth century Irish missionary, St.Cairell, who founded the sacred site of Cille Choirill in the Braes of Lochaber in the West Highlands of Scotland.
There are also two other editions of this music which also include the new Rose-Conlon hymn written in honour of St Cairell: 'The Peace of God':
(ii) Voices and Piano(Organ) Edition (RCM102)
(ii) Choir Only Edition (RCM113)
