This volume includes a progressive sequence of materials for the oboe player with no "lesson boundaries." Students will determine their rates of advancement. Instead of using familiar tunes, original, well-thought out musical compositions by the author are included. The student must think through the melodies instead of relying on memory of standard tunes.
