The exercises and pieces in this book are NOT requirements for the (Trinity) Guildhall's examinations but they do provide invaluable learning material. Breathing, posture & embouchure development are pivotal to enjoyable brass playing.

As in Book 1, examples of breathing, mouthpiece buzzing & lip slur exercises are suggested as as essential starting point for any daily practice routine - & can work wonders in performance. Scales & arpeggios are learnt alongside 'real' music.
