Vivaldi's concerto in A minor, originally for two violins and string orchestra, was loved by his contemporary J S Bach who transcribed it for the organ. It is a powerful work with many beautiful moments, including a mini aria appearing at the end of the last movement which adds special status among the hundreds of concertos written by Vivaldi.
