The Chester's Music Puzzles series
Chester's Music Puzzles is an entertaining series of clear and structured puzzles and questions, by Carol Barratt, designed to help young instrumentalists master the basics of musical theory. Each illustrated set of contains ten question papers, information for teacher and parents and a certificate of achievement for the pupil. These puzzles also take into account limited reading and writing skills of younger children.
Each book corresponds with the matching Chester Piano Book.

Chester's Easy-Peasy Theory Set 2 follows on from Set 1 and gives young children a real sense of enjoyment as they begin to learn the language of music.
The worksheets are carefully graded to take into account the development of the pupil's reading and writing skills.
They can be used alongside any instrumental lessons and are suitable for young beginners (5 years and upwards). Stickers are included to reward the completion of each sheet.
At this stage, if they can play it, they should be able to write it. Have fun!
