Julie London was one of the most sensual singers in the history of jazz/popular vocal, and her risqué album covers were as much a part of her legend as her sultry and husky vocals. In addition to recording around 30 albums between 1955 and 1969, London would also enjoy a career in television and over 20 movies.
• “London by Night” was released by Liberty Records in 1959. It featured backing from Pete King and his Orchestra, and was recorded in Los Angeles.
