The Rovner Dark assists in producing a full, centered tone. Whilst technologically superior, it is designed to emulate the sound produced by the age-old string ligature.
It fabric construction holds the reed firmly to the reed table across the majority of the reeds heel area resulting in a dark, smooth and fully rounded sound in all registers.
The Rovner is very durable and it's single screw fastening makes it very easy to apply and adjust.
Its warm, dark sound is particularly enjoyed by classical performers.
