Model: A902
Alto Saxophone
Yanagisawa A902 - Intermediate
The A902 has the same standard neck configuration and keywork as the A901 but importantly a bronze body and crook. This means the core materials have a different copper/zinc content. The higher copper content found in bronze saxophones adds a certain subtlety and warmth to the sound, the 902 also has its pillars individually mounted directly to the body which allows the base brass to really resonate.
Perhaps more suited for the player who wants a balance of immediate tonal production but some extra warmth not found in the 901. The warmth is gained at the expense of a little projection due to reduced zinc content in the core brass.
Lacquer bronze body with hand-engraved bell, adjustable front F key, gold plated thumb rest & hook, supplied in a deluxe wood shell case with high quality ebonite mouthpiece.
