Sally Adams
After gaining a degree in Music Education, Sally has taught the Flute and Recorder in several schools including Bedford Modern, Headington and Stowe. She is currently head of Woodwind at Bloxham School.
Sally has worked as an advisor for both the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall examination boards. She was involved in the setting up of the Music Medals exams for both Flute and Recorder.
Sally is a widely-published composer and arranger of music for the recorder and flute, and is particularly well-known for her popular flute method ‘Flute Basics’, published by Faber Music. As a performer, Sally has played in a variety of ensembles. She is very interested in improvisation, pop and world music.
