Composer Information: Bart Varner

Bart Varner is a musician and music educator living in the United States in Oklahoma City.  A lifelong violinist and a long time multi-instrumentalist,  Bart completed his undergraduate work at Oklahoma Christian University in music performance, studying under Lacy McLarry, and later studied music composition at the University of Oklahoma with Dr. Christian Asplund.  He frequently performs in the Oklahoma music theater and orchestral scene, as actor, singer, musician, and conductor.  He has been a private string and percussion teacher since 1995, and is currently the orchestral director at Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City.
