Composer Information: Dennis Leogrande

Dennis Leogrande has been a music educator and supervisor of music in New Jersey (USA) public schools where he has taught band and string instruments to students ages four through eighteen as well as directed bands, jazz ensembles, and orchestras. He holds a Masters degree in Music Education from New York University and a Supervisor of Music degree. In addition to his teaching, Mr. Leogrande has published numerous educational works, composed music for animated films, and operates a digital recording studio. “Just Sayin’…” is Dennis’ second solo piano release of original music. This twelve work CD features pianist Ron Levy along with Dennis performing jazz and blues with an eclectic mix of traditional styles. His three movement solo piano “Syzygy” received its World Premiere performance in 2013 at the Weill Recital Hall, NYC. More information is available at his website.
