Composer Information: Philip John Berthoud

Born in Zimbabwe in 1966, Phil is a self taught guitarist/fiddle player and mandolinist. He has written several music instruction books and arranged collections under the Mel Bay imprint.

Phil's music work is divided between writing music, writing about music, teaching and performing. He lives in South Devon with his wife and two children.
